And something I've said for decades - serving in *any* Governmental post should mean having had experience in that field. Education Minister - ex-teacher/professor, etc. Healthcare position - ex Dr, nurse, surgeon. Defence - ex-Armed Forces and so on.

Unlike in the private sector, itt's yet another area of influence where you need a grand total of zero experience in the field you're going to run 😠
