Almost any time I was in Tokyo, I was staying in Shinjuku.
I luuuuuuuuuuuuurve Shinjuku Station. Also Shinjuku Central Park.
No joke, it took me two entire years to figure out how to get from East Shinjuku to West Shinjuku through the station without having to pay to go through some turnstile.
I told my friends, they absolutely didn't believe me. I had to PROVE it to them. They thought it was an impossibility.

Ell oh ell, amateurs.
They publish entire GUIDES to the Tokyo subway system, thick little paperbacks telling you stuff like the best car to be on in Train A to make the connection you want to Train B.
Some stations, like Shinjuku, get entire 3D (!) maps.
