I have been using Duck Duck Go (app and search engine) for the past month and there is a huge reduction in ads based on my browser history. In fact I can’t recall seeing the last one.

@kendonnelly I've been using DDG for over 5 years and my Spam folder seldom has more than 3 or 4 emails in it each day.
