Good God that's a lot of sausage!
Imagine how much damage that thing did to the ecosystem. They are quite destructive.
like all wildlife, they have their place and are part OF the eco system, where theyโre native.
one person summed it up nicely, โThey dig and wallow which brings up nutrients for other animals. Kinda like elephants but on a smaller scale,they shape habitat with their bodies and create openings for new plant growth. They also play a role as prey for large carnivores.โ
the person who ended that life did equal damage by stopping a whole heartbeat.

It's about long term balance.
Wild boars are not in balance at the moment.
For that matter, neither are humans. ๐
