I've been encountering too many "men" exhibiting the paraphernalia of uber-manhood (trucks, baseball caps, country music) that can't operate a screwdriver let alone show interest in things that would provide help or protection for those that rely upon them.

What the hell is "manhood" anyway?

I've never considered myself overtly masculine. At one point in my life I was a "Sensitive New-Age Guy". I shook off that moniker a while ago. But, I think I've avoided the "toxic masculinity" we see too much of today.

I just don't get how I could be derided by men when I eat my BBQ ribs with a knife and fork (yet finishing it off using my hands), and yet they are OK with not being able to fix their car, door, refrigerator, or paint a wall.

No respect.
