Putin? He may be a lot of things, but he has a grasp of the MAD principle.
Prigozhin? Wouldn't possess the authority or the launch codes to give and verify such an order.
Let's not needlessly spread unnecessary fears
Putin's speech just changed that paradigm. Prigozhin may not have a beef with Putin, but Putin has a beef with Prigozhin.
The Russian army (what's left of it) isn't in Moscow, or Russia, it's in Ukraine. And Wagner has already circled around behind it.
From the size of the Wagner columns heading north, they have more than enough troops to take Moscow, and hold it.
@Render @jurban yeah, I saw that earlier this morning, but was getting too tired to say anything about it.
If the reports are true about Wagner shooting down Russian attack choppers, then at a minimum some of prigozhin's forces are armed with RPGs, if not actual SAMs.
If anything else, Ukraine has shown the myth surrounding the Russian army is just that....a myth They haven't had a decent armored unit since Kursk
@jurban @Render Prigozhin has Supposedly said his beef is not with Putin but the Russian General Staff and Defense Ministry.
For now, Putin will remain Russia's leader. I can't imagine the Russian Army moving to overthrow him, and the Wagner Group doesn't have the manpower or resources needed to do it.
