Any idea what is happening in the SW region of Ukr? There's plenty of hot-spots that seem to resemble the shelling elsewhere in the country, but no social media posts from Liveuamap.com that correlate to that region. I've been searching for around a week. Also, if this is actually explosions, where are the coming from? Submarine? If so, seems like a lot of missiles for subs to deploy.
@jurban There six improved Kilo class SSK subs in the Black Sea fleet. I don't know for sure how many are actually operational, but at least four have been seen moving.
Each has six torpedo tubes and can carry a total of 18 weapons (torpedoes, Kaliber cruise missiles) for those tubes.
With a lack of ship targets for their torpedoes there isn't any point in carrying them. Which means each Kilo can carry up to 18 Kaliber missiles.

@jurban There was a brief break in the firing of sub launched Kaliber's at the end of May/beginning of June.
My assumption is that they fired all of the Kalibers that the Black Sea fleet had in stock and had to wait while sub launched Kalibers were delivered from the stockpiles of the other three fleets. With the ones coming from the Pacific fleet taking much longer to arrive in the Black Sea.

Random terror bombing of fields? Seems like an expensive way to terrorize. And, with Odessa not far away.
@jurban They may very have been aiming at Odessa.
Russian "precision" weapons were never all that precise to begin with, despite their claims. That lack of precision is only getting worse as time goes on.

A pretty large chunk of the Russian Black Sea fleet evacuated Sevastopol a couple of days ago, last seen headed through the Kerch Straight for Rostov.
They're trying to avoid anti-ship missiles and get out of HIMARS range.
All of the Russian Naval Infantry (marine) units are already committed to the front lines, or re-building after having been destroyed in combat.
