Background: The Fed Gov't dept that manages Medicare/Medicaid (CMS) is forcing the relocation of 700 vulnerable residents at the largest skilled nursing facility in the country while it pursues recertification because of some minor violations.
We're asking Sec. of HHS Xavier Becerra to decouple relocation from recertification so that these people are not forced out.

Spoke to staff and family members visiting.
I was stunned to hear so many people didn't know the govt is shutting down the facility and everyone needs to be out by mid-Sept. It's sad to deliver such terrible news to people.

(That would be really cool except I've learned that she and Xavier Becerra don't like each other)
