I believe:
- That every person is a person. Period.
- People are impacted by their genetics, upbringing and culture and can do little to change the past
- People are refined or damaged by their education based on the truthfulness of the content
- Everyone can improve. Some can do so better than others
- Improvement takes courage. Some have more than others. Everyone has that choice. Your amount of courage is not static
- Nothing in the world can impact an adult unless they let it inside

Yes, but we need to recognize that courage is required. We all have it, but many have such little courage. Nevertheless, it can be increased.
@jurban So very true and nicely said. People are products of their experiences and each one has the ability to change for the good.
