My latest interest is how to inform an immoral person that they are immoral in such a way that they do not become defensive.
One solution: Storytelling. aka: Myths.
We need more myths that influence the young citizens to strive to be morally-minded adults. These have to be new myths. New aspirational characters. Hard decisions, but ones that show the positive trajectory of a life.

Perhaps check out Honor Harrington science fiction books - an inspirational character who is the basis for real world LARP. Not just morally minded but exemplary leadership skills.
