I don't think we've had a war where over 4000 soldiers were dying per day on a sustained basis.
But that is what is happening today in our hospitals due to COVID-19.
@jurban it is estimated that 21m-25m soldiers died in ww2. The war lasted 2190 days. That make over 9500 death per day.
For US soldiers only it’s about 187 a day with 410000 dead.
