Huh... so France's government invoked a rule that lets them push through a raise on the retirement age from 62 to 64 (67 in some things I'm reading.)
The response to the proposal was 2 months of protests. After they pulled this little stunt... things got worse. Including the waste management and many other groups going on strike.
So, France is literally a country of flaming garbage right now. Paris especially.
