Okay, the Supreme Court ruled that universities can’t use race as a factor in admissions. But they did say that through essays and other means an applicant can mention their experience as a black person. So how will that new policy be enforced? Oh, and another thing. Roberts said there should be an exception for military academies. Why should that be? As one of the liberal dissenters said, “It’s okay to have diversity in the bunker but not the boardroom?”

@johnldeboer when it's just about cannon fodder, black & brown are good enough....even encouraged b/c we don't want our white peeps dying on the battle field. remember, troops are expendable.

but higher education that means they might run for office, might work their way up in biz, might actually get to influential & wealthy positions? yeah, we don't want black & brown peeps to get too big for their britches. 🙄

@johnldeboer also, if they can't use race as a factor, no names should be on applications. they can be dead giveaways about race, no? just give all applicants a number & then academic admissions can go by the merits of the application rather than name. if there's an interview portion, it should be blind.
