Yesterday I posted the CoSo CSAM policy and the image of the statement from BlueSky about the problems they're having with that right now to a forum I'm on.
Below is the response from someone on that forum and my answer back to them.
I don't know enough about How Stuff Works to answer more intelligently than that.
@Tarnagh Appreciated. While the technology does help, and HAS caught 4 instances of a user uploading CSAM, it's important to note that the biggest deterrant is baked in to COSO policies.
That is to say, while you can use COSO for free, without a PRO account features that allow for private comms DOES require a PRO account.
And perverts tend to shy away from creating a paper trail by providing payment details.
