@jgold I'm sick over this. They said that surrender would be death for them, and I don't doubt them. No rational person could seriously think that russia will hold up their end of the negotiations once they got those soldiers in their hands.
@jgold Wonder if there's any possibility of rescuingvthem from the Russians? I imagine it would be close to impossible but??? Doesn't Ukraine have one of Putin's close friends in custody? (His name escapes me at the moment). Might that provide some leverage.

I doubt a true rescue is possible. Maybe some sort of exchange could be organized with enough international pressure, but I kinda doubt that also.
Azov is THE focal point of almost all Russian propaganda. This is how Putin will try to justify his war to his own people. "See, we got some Nazis!"
UA does have one of Putin's friends in custody, but at the same time, the do because Putin made no move to help get the guy out. Doesn't seem Putin is too distraught.
