It's soon this time of year again...
Thankfully, my boys ain't afraid of things gong BANG or BOOM, but I feel for all the doggos who do and the hell they have to go through, because some of the hooman kind need a SHITTY lights and bang show to welcome in the new year - which, by the way, probably just gonna be New Year, Same ol' SHIT SHOW on the world stage(s)
@Airborne_Frog My doggo had age-induced hearing loss toward the last few years of his life and truly one of the silver linings of his being deaf was that he wasn't cowering under blankets on NYE. Our neighbourhood often sets off mortars, so I'm sure he still felt those (they shake EVERYTHING) but he was spared most of the fear from the noises.
Feeling for the pets, and for the humans with PTSD and other anxieties around such loud, unpredictable sounds.
