Bought a resto kit for that haze on the inside housing of the light, worth a shot, new lights are $350 per lol
@elmaxx yeah, ive heard that too, ima work on the outside with this polish, i cant take it apart, its a projector light, and it will get fucked if i start messing with the insides
:P
@jedijester yeaaaahhh... you don't want to mess with it
@elmaxx this kit was 12 bucks, so as long as it doesnt mess anything up, its no big loss, but id like to clean up that little side curve
@jedijester post the post-job pics
@elmaxx haha will do
so far ive cleaned the throttle bodies, the MAFs and replaced the stock radiator
and new tires
this should be easy
<famous last words>
@jedijester painted the fence, shaved the chickens, nailed the crosses, dotted the I's xD
dang dude, you've been busy, take it easy it's saturday lol
@jedijester extra beer / ice cream money, gotcha
@elmaxx theres a few paint chips, tiny, that i need to address
and i need to take it to Infiniti for the 85k check up and all that
but god damn i love this car
@jedijester that's major service right?
@elmaxx yeah, from what i read they check everything
i think my fuel pump or ECU might need something
it gets mad if i pull a hard curve, forgets how much fuel it has
no baffles in the tank
but thats all i see
@jedijester yeah, major service can be a bit expensive, good job on the earlier repairs!
@elmaxx ty ty
<bow>
@elmaxx hard curve is 50 thru the on ramp turn and screaming tires
@jedijester God, I'd be happy if my headlights looked like that now! I've never had any luck with the home remedies (toothpaste, Off!, etc). Which kit did you go for?
@BillyBones tutrle wax, 12 bucks
dude wanted to sell me the $35 kit, but i just have that small area to fix
@jedijester Texted the Kid. He used something amazing on his 2004 Honda Accord. I'll share if he answers.
@jedijester Well that was a bust. Said basically 3m sandpaper and water. I fear for his future patients.
@jds_again ima try this turtle wax stuff, its just the sides, as long as i dont fuck up the paint or the main lights, ill call that a win
:)
@jedijester I've heard that toothpaste works great to clean the inside of the car light housing, once my wife returns in a month or so i'm giving it a shot
