Glad to know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
there's a reason i don't take cabs or lyft or uber.
the bus involves (at most) a "hi, thanks" and the rest can be ignored with earbuds. no expectation of chatting.
I do live in an area with great transit tho. not doable everywhere
Transit's pretty good here as well Lyft fills the gap when I miss the last bus to get to work. When I want to study the local wildlife I ride teh bus!
the bus has some great views here, too - there's a small bit where the train passes by a wooded fenced-in area - if i'm really lucky and it's the right time of day, i see deer!
SF Muni is ....interesting.
I wish I had that luck.The wildlife i experience stand on two feet. 🤣
that's *most* of mine here too - i treasure the little wooded areas between home and work. :)
