@jedijester CVN-69 USS Eisenhower battle group is off the coast of Norfolk finishing up its fleet readiness exercises.
CVN-71 USS Teddy Roosevelt battle group (The Big Stick) is off the coast of San Diego finishing up its carrier flight qualifications.
CVN-72 Lincoln and CVN-74 Stennis are in the Mediterranean.
CVN-75 Truman is in port at Norfolk, loaded and ready to go.
@Render if they wanted to scramble the whole group out of norfolk, would it be moving in hours?
@jedijester Yes. It's called surge operations and USN has practiced them since the Cold War.
Three carrier battle groups are currently capable of surge operations, at varying states of readiness.
