I am not offended by what you have said, and although @frsimon is not a regular here, I think both of us would go, those candidates been put forward by the White house do not represent me and my understanding of the message of Christ.

Someone who says they don't share my beliefs doesn't offend me.
Someone who claims to share my beliefs and speak for me -- but who actually lives their life completely out of accord with those beliefs -- offends me a lot.
