We fought so hard for women’s rights in the 60s-70s and every generation of women since then have not.
Women just lost the legal right to determine control of our body.
However, the dresses at the Met Gala are of greater interest than what is happening at #SCOTUS , reversing #RoeVWade.
But we still have our guns……..
Women aren’t interested in keeping women’s rights. Women take them for granted and now watch as your rights are eradicated.
@Goddess Many people aren't aware of is that it wasn't until the 1970s that women gained the right to be financially and reproductively independent. Many aren't aware of the many rights they have today can be easily lost.
@jdlxn @Goddess The whole case from Alito's PoV is that abortion is not mentioned in the US constitution. Well there are a lot of other things not mentioned either - like votes for women, freedom for blacks, gay rights, privacy, contraception, votes for non-white males, the right to unionize, etc. You can bet if the GQP get veto proof majorities in house & senate then the WH in '24 all of the above will be attacked
