My father is still in the ICU, the infection is responding but he isn’t out of the woods yet. He now is delirious/hallucinating/not lucid and while his heart is strong it is having issues. We are in a wait and see mode. He may not be able to beat the infection without major surgery and that may not work. And it is something he would never agree to. I’m in a hold pattern, ready to travel there when the village needs me to but by mid next week.
This sucks. But again, big village.
