Do y'all have a way to keep accomplishments? Degrees, plaques, ribbons, trophies etc? I really don't know what to do with stuff like that.
@danialexis I think my closest analog would be a garage. I worked too hard to get rid of it all, but I would be embarrassed to put it some place people would see it. What about college stuff?
@jasod The few college things that aren't band or skating related live in a plastic storage tote also in my basement.
@danialexis I have an ancient railway trunk where all of my non-valuable but irreplaceable things live. With grad school, martial arts, etc. It seems like I could find some place for them. Those are all things I am quite proud of, but not what I want to show off.
@jasod I put all my old band stuff and my figure skating medals in shadow boxes and hung them in the basement.
