Many people think they need to literally drink 8 glasses of water a day. Yes/No. Unless the food you're eating is fried to a crisp, it has water in it. Yes, that counts! All the drinks have water in them, that counts too.
If you're eating soup all day, no, you don't need to chug a gallon of water on top of that. Listen to your body, if it's asking for water, drink!
@jake_snowflake that's a good point. If your urine is clear, you definitely don't need more water.
