Good morning from the Left Coast. It's sunny and warm early. The humidity is down a little. We will be approaching 90°F today, ahead of three days of high temps, and before cooler weather sets in. Sumo is heating up, as well as day 9 finds Terunofugi opening up a two bout lead over the field.
@jackdetate I have been so jetlagged / swamped I have seen literally none of Nagoya. One hears Takakeisho's in rough shape, and then poor Asanoyama... if I go catch up on NHK recaps, what's good?
@agunn Sumo is at an inflection point. The young rikshii are putting a lot of pressure on everyone. It is physically challenging for anyone 30 years or older to stay in the game.
@jackdetate Ohhhh Shodai. That fandom is... draining. I do wish him good things, including a lot more... joy?... in his sumo. It has been a while. (Mitakeumi too.)
