It doesn't seem to be "Highlights".

It doesn't seem to be "Weekly Reader".

I remember it as informative and sciency. (I did receive it from a religious family, but if it had any religious connotations those flew right over my head.)

It was about tabloid sized, perhaps a bit bigger. If I had to guess, it was no more than about 8 sheets.

So if you have any idea what that periodical was called, I would like to know, simply for some peace of mind.

Thanks in advance!

Question for my American friends: in the early 80s, from friends in the USA, I received a newspaper-style magazine aimed at young kids.

I vividly remember an issue about dinosaurs, including an interview with Tina Yothers.

I would like to know what the magazine was called.

@Dietmar_Johannes Hi Dietmar. Een hoop Nederlanders zijn toch naar Mastodon getrokken. Counter Social is leuk internationaal (nou ja, voornamelijk US lijkt het).

Misschien toch ook een Mastodon account nemen (via mastodon.nl bijvoorbeeld)... Janneke Kluit zit daar ook op namelijk, die mist je. :)

Newbie here. Can someone clarify the search thingy?

I get "Remote SSL certificate could not be verified" when searching users on other Mastodon domains.

(I *am* able to locate counter.social accounts from the Mastodon network.)

So I wonder, is this a temporary glitch or simply not supported?

Yesterday at this time there were about 42,000 accounts on CoSo.

As of a few seconds ago there are 70,000.
