@Museek Right???? I remember asking my mother once, "what will happen if I disobey God?" She said I would be "annhilated" by him. I said, "you mean, dead, gone, not knowing anything?" "Yes", she replied, then saw my face and I don't know if she realised what she had just said, but the penny dropped for me, big time!

@Museek Oh it gets worse. I asked her once, "if I needed a blood transfusion to save my life, would you give it to me?" She said, "no, I'd have to let you die." I felt so "loved" at that point in my childhood (7 years old)

@Museek Yeah, I know. So much that could be said about that, but I grew up, I moved on. There are scars that will never heal, but it's been my mission in life ever since to help others in similar situations. Cults are not pleasant places to be.
@homebird I'm really sorry you had to go through that. No child should feel unloved or afraid like that. It's amazing that you've turned your experience into a mission to help others. Your strength is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your story.
