@Esther It helped me so much after having to leave my family who are still trapped in a Cult. I was just a teenager and so afraid out in the world, totally alone. And I was suffering from depression, having lost everything I had ever known. This book helped enormously, to accept that sometimes suffering and sorrow are our "travelling companions" but that brighter days are ahead. 😀

That is so profound. I’m glad you made it out. What incredible bravery and I imagine completely disorienting.
