Sandy Hill, Orkney 101

Hoping @Mauve_matelot, @stueytheround and all in the UK are ok this morning.

@homebird we are good, North Coast took most of the brunt. Will try and find out the numbers

@stueytheround

@homebird @stueytheround A wind speed of 91mph (146km/h) was recorded at Gwennap Head, near Land's End in Cornwall.
Some of the highest wind speeds were 86mph (138km/h) on St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly, 69mph (111km/h) at Chivenor in north Devon, 66mph (106km/h) at Plymouth and 61mph (98km/h) at Camborne, said BBC South West meteorologist Bee Tucker.

@Mauve_matelot @stueytheround Happy to hear that Mauve! I was worried about you both. ❤️

@homebird It was nowhere near as bad as that for us. No damage and power stayed on. How are you?
@Mauve_matelot

@stueytheround I'm glad to hear that, after all the flooding you guys have experienced of late! I'm fine, tired - was up a lot of the night hearing things clatter and bang, but all is good today.

All good here. Trampoline went for a small walkabout but nothing damaging.

Hope everyone is ok.

@Booga Good to hear. Yeah I remember our trampoline heading ito the trees one year, it was well tied down after that! @Mauve_matelot @stueytheround
