@TudorGram1500 Bore da! Nice to see pics of my homeland. I do miss it. Lovely sunrise!
@TudorGram1500 I spoke Welsh fluently until I was 7 years old, then got sent to an English-speaking school. Moved away when I was 17, so all I have now is "tipyn bach"! I am always trying to learn it again. Hate that I lost such fluency. I am happy to hear the Dreigiau are doing well. I will inform Nessie next I am in Inverness! 😂 🏴 🐉 🏴
@homebird I went to secondary in Wales, but in Welsh I was never taught the basics, and so very little stuck. I moved back here a few years back and have been just doing Duolingo a bit since then... first thing they teach you is "I am a dragon" which is not entirely useful in everyday conversation, unless you go see the dragons 🤣
@TudorGram1500 haha, yes, or "Dych chi'n hoffi coffi?" 😂 ☕ Slightly more useful, but yeah, they do start with the very basics. I guess they want it to be fun too. I've been doing duolingo lately also, to brush up my Welsh. Was gonna learn Ukrainian for my friend, but then my heart led my brain.
@homebird bore da to you too, bach! (I'm afraid I speak very little Welsh, but ia am learning!) Don't worry, it's still a beautiful country and the dragons are all doing fine in the mountains 😊
