@homebird There was an episode of the show "The League" about this. One of the lawyer dick characters discovers that he's got 500 miles of free towing on his plan, so he starts using it to get his car home from the bar. The tow truck driver is upset that he's abusing the system like this, and he's all "just do your job, peon."

Then, of course, the car DOES break down, and the moment he reaches 500 miles, the tow truck driver leaves him and the car by the side of the road.
