She was badly burned as a kid and tattooing over her scars was her motivation to start. She does the most incredible mastectomy tattoos. Not saying anyone ever has to "reconstruct" anything at all. Just a thread w/both "tattoo" and "mastectomy" in it and she's an incredible artists, so just wanted to share. :)

@hendrey I was thinking about this earlier, and I'll never forget how awesome I found this one lady to be, think she was in the book "Our Bodies, Ourselves" years ago. She posed showing her tattoos after a radical mastectomy and I mean, it made me cry with the awesomeness of it.
Does anyone else remember this?
Also, I searched for tats after mastectomies and wow. Some beautiful stuff, but yeah, I'd have to be sedated I think. 😬
