I haven't been here in two years. Just...life stuff, I guess. COVID brought me back. It looks different. I'm like a stranger now.
I want to share this. Maybe it will save lives:

I advised my team to WfH the night I found out abt the Biogen cases last week--the night the news broke here in Cambridge/Boston. I'm more and more worried abt the general lack of taking this seriously.
Are we taking this seriously here? I hope so.
Plz (& thank u) read & share the article.
@Minholkin Thank you! :)
@hendrey Welcome to CS, Jen!
@hendrey yes we are very srs here. See my tw TL too. It's all covid
I watched this since mid jan because epidemiology and emerging disease is a hobby interest of mine
What I saw in china freaked me out because the overloading /collapse of healthcare is the nightmare scenario (even worse tha4 higher death rates << it's the hospitalization rate😱)
Then boom korea same thing
Iran, same thing
Italy, same thing
For exact same reasons - deny/coverup, not taken srs by population then boom
@hendrey welcome back, I've only recently really started posting again here myself. Same great people without the riff-raff.
That article is an eye-opener. Thanks for sharing. It seems most people here are taking this seriously.
@hendrey hello from the UK :) I'm taking this seriously even though my idiot govt thinks the best way to deal is just to let it sweep the country and hope herd immunity develops by magic :(
@hendrey thanks and welcome back!
@hendrey
Hi and welcome back :)
Thank you for returning and sharing this—I think folks are generally informed and effective here—taking it seriously while staying constructive.
Lots of changes and lots of new features! But always a warm community :)
