For twelve years I helped develop NASA data visualization and simulation software and outreach and engagement campaigns. I started my own company (Baltu Technologies) a few years ago with the goal to create software that can train anyone to do anything. Here’s our CEO in 2020 testing out VR content we produced. I’m currently focused on AI, handheld, and eyewear technologies.

A moment in cheetos.
Created with AI, a few seconds of capture, and a delicious dinner with friends. This is research for work.

once you start pinning hashtags , you will notice you have so many columns it's hard to manage.

--->you can combine them with the ''include additional tags for this column'' button . it will open a window where you can choose to add or exclude hashtags from this column.

I have been anticipating the release of "Life in Space" by Maura Mackowski. If you're fascinated by what it takes to stay alive during space missions and the research required to even prepare for the endeavor, this book should be of high interest to you. Check it out!

I've been co-hosting a meetup called Phoenix VR For Good for nearly five years. Here's a recent presentation which introduces Act One, an Arizona nonprofit organization dedicated to providing meaningful arts experiences to students and their one-of-a-kind VR arts field trip program Arts Immersion. youtube.com/watch?v=KEzgBPO-Jh

I teach an immersive experiences/game design class at Arizona State University. teamlab's Borderless project in Tokyo, Japan is one of the best immersive installations ever made. I went when it first opened and visited again a year later. This is one room in a 20,000 sq ft facility.

Now I know why manga looks the way it does. This is a photograph I took in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.

A photo captured while walking through the "Forbidden City" in Beijing, China a few years ago.

A while back I had an opportunity to visit friends at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. I captured this photo at a lab named Swamp Works. In this image pros are teaching robots how to dig through a simulation of the lunar surface.

This is from a few years ago as scientists and engineers in "bunny suits" prepared TIRS hardware for vibration testing at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

I recently learned about a computer demonstration dubbed “The Mother of All Demos” given 40 years ago by Douglas Engelbart at the Fall Joint Computer Conference in San Francisco. Douglas showed off the NLS computer to a crowd of 1000 computer pros. The demo of this system given on December 9, 1968 is now considered one of the most important in modern computing history.

Photo taken within the Architects of Air: Albesila installation a few years ago in Mesa, Arizona. These installations travel the world and are always worth a visit.

"The most important thing to know about Musk is that he is a troll. Like all trolls, he sets out to offend and to upset, purely to get the world’s attention. Except Musk is not only better at trolling than anyone else, it is a vital part of both his business model and how he treats the world. And it is what makes his purchase of Twitter so dangerous." theguardian.com/commentisfree/

Bienvenidos a Thunderdome! This was a few years ago at a Mexican wrestling match in a taco shop in Phoenix, Arizona.

"In studies reported in Science in April 2007, John M. Asara and colleagues concluded that seven traces of collagen proteins detected in purified Tyrannosaurus rex bone most closely match those reported in chickens, followed by frogs and newts.”

I felt I needed an excuse to post a dinosaur picture. Hope you all are safe and enjoying the evening.
