Looking back at my years of military service, having participated in a few campaigns and an action or two, I wonder if it was all a waste of time. Trump, by his very existence as the President, again, means I'm a sucker and loser. Happy Veteran's Day my ass.
@h8cloz my god father (nam vet) once told me. It's not the wars or the president or the country that makes a good veteran. He said
A good veteran is a good man, who took a great risk to defend the things and people he cares about more then his own life, liberty, and happiness.
Every country, every person, needs a good vertran because a good veteran is a great man.
And we all need great men. Especially now. More then ever.
