Doing it at the end of December when it was so cold out was not ideal. But I’ve already saved nearly 2K in heating costs. Replacing those 120+ year old windows and doors was worth every damn penny and freezing my patootie off for a week

Happy little bebes after spending their first couple days outside and getting some rain 😊
It’s been wet, and decided to give me some more rain today so I spread the seed for the bee lawn
Yard: 3 types of clover, sedum, five spot, self heal, creeping thyme, pennie black, alyssum violet, and violas for shits and giggles
No mow zone: that 👆🏼 plus 3 types of dianthus, 3 types of flax, Cali poppy, and moss rose(?)
If it comes it’ll be a very colorful pollinator party
My brain tells me it should smell like lemon frosting… I has the sads that it does not. And now have a massive craving for lemon cake thinks to this dang paint 🤤🎨😔
Scrap from the new pantry shelves, and some boards I found in the barn. Et voila, new garden boxes for hauling seedlings 😊
Now to finish up the pantry so I can get the piles of stuff out my kitchen/dining room
