Stopped to pick up something for lunch at work tonight, and in the parking lot as I was putting things on the motorcycle to leave, two women were loudly discussing something which was upsetting them.
A bit more eavesdropping and I understood the problem to be Kamala's sudden ascension.
A little more eavesdropping and I understood the problem wasn't her politics as much as her skin tone and ancestry.
I stood by the bike thinking "Please! Please! Please! Ask me my opinion!".

Why?
Racism rears its ugly head.
You’re a better man than I.
After growing up in racist home and hearing every permutation of the N word, I would have spoken to these women.
I will not be silent during this election.
@grayman I just interrupt people when they do that. If I can hear them, their conversation is not private, and if they are going to subject myself and the community to their ignorance, I will glady share my own thoughts.
When someone talks loudly in public, I assume they want others to join in.
@grayman Not surprising. Had a customer dropping the n-word four times in a rant about her. I kepyt my mouth shut.
