One of the New Year's resolutions that I made (initially as a joke - see pinned post) was to try a new flavor of ice cream each month.
For January, I picked up a half gallon (wish they had a smaller container) of "Black Strap Molasses" ice cream from a local farm produce store.
Opinion:
Tasty, but a little goes a long way.
I'm thinking that if I drank alcohol, a little bit of this with some Captain Morgan's ( #CoSoPirates ) would make a pleasant dessert beverage for adults.

May I suggest Jeni’s? The prices are crazy and the containers are very small. The ice cream is truly superb though and there are tons of flavors.

I have actually gotten so desperate for Jeni’s I have paid for delivery. Delivery is an environmental nightmare, though, so I’m glad you have a way to try it locally if you decide to take the plunge. Let’s hope we don’t both end up destitute due to gluttony!

It is all very good, but I think the goat cheese and cherries and the almond brittle are tops.😎
