@floryloughead I am a total dumbass. I had two jars of it. My wife threw out the wrong jar and the one I ate had expired two years ago. It was already half consumed. I didn’t notice any odd taste. The only thing I notice was kind of a sizzling sound when I opened it.

@gomez_addams it's a ferment, of course it is going to fizz when you pop the jar. Old kimchi has a strong but not nasty smell. When it goes bad, one can tell, It's puky.
