If billionaires are really so much more valuable than all the other workers, let's switch for a year. I bet those fuckers will do a grand job getting all the work the rest of us normally do finished.

I mean, if Elon Musk is worth as much more than a regular person as his money indicates, he should be able to do about half a billion people's shifts, right?

@AskTheDevil I have always had the same opinion. I don't want the billionares paying more taxes, I just want them legally bound to just PAY their taxes. Like make it a threshold you know, like beyond a certain amount earned you're required legally to pay all taxes and you don't get to do any funny business. That'd solve the issue right there. Hell, making less than 12k a year and still having to pay nearly 1/3rd of your income to tax yet they just play some games and pay 0. Annoying.

@glassramen I don't want there to be billionaires at all. I don't mean kill them or anything. I mean we should never allow any single person to hold that much power and wealth, and thus leverage.

But in the meantime, they should at least pay goddamn taxes like the rest of us. More than the rest of us!

@AskTheDevil I agree that some sort of limit on personal wealth would solve a lot of issues, I feel it'd open the governments of the world to go even further. I'm a fair bit more libertarian than anything else, but there should definitely be more restrictions on them. Like obviously lobbying should be illegal, and "campaign donations" along with "gifts." Too many things to change that'd improve it, to state.

System is fucked currently, but sadly it's what we got so we gotta work within it.

@AskTheDevil Hopefully we can change it though, cause things are bleak. I'd like to see things improve for everyone.
