The British Soldier or Red Cap Lichen was out today.
@gettinaway i have never seen red lichen before,
Uk seems to get light green, silver or yellow lichens

@Mauve_matelot I always look for these in the spring. The little bit of red stands out if I am looking for it, but it can be easy to miss. It is native in my area.
