Our marine layer has moved in, bringing moderate temperatures and a light grey background that highlights the squadrons of seagulls moving inland to search the landfills for breakfast.

@gemswinc All is well here. The Padres are playing inspired baseball and Myra starts her makeup job at Knott's next month, One of our boys, Aaron, made a car trip from Ohio with his wife, Kelly, and their 2 dogs, to see their children in Long Beach, and they came by to see us last week. The other son, Brian and his wife Krisy, are driving down from Washington for a wedding. They will stop by Saturday, It is a joy, and a little surreal, having them casually popping in, while living so far away.

@gemswinc She works as a monster makeup artist every year, at Knott's Berry Farm for their month of Halloween Haunt. It is something she looks forward to all year.
