Biden rolls out migration order that aims to shut down asylum requests, after months of anticipation
@ApostatePerry Congress has to fix the border problem. No significant legislation since the 1990s, I read. Political football
@ApostatePerry As long as it's a win for Biden. This year I am a one issue voter
@gemswinc lot of issues to pick from...I certainly hope that Biden is the path to a better Democracy without genocide
@ApostatePerry There are a lot of moving parts, precedent and etc., that come into play with Israel/Hamas . I am sick of both sides, Biden is doing the best he can.
@gemswinc agreed except how he is handling the anti genocide protest at the college's
@ApostatePerry Truthfully, I'm not paying attention to that. Veteran of many protests, including 1968, and Iraq. I'm cynical now, as to their efficacy. In addition, I'm trying to maintain my sanity.
@gemswinc better democracy without supporting genocide
@gemswinc @ApostatePerry I have a lot of disagreement with Mr. Biden on various policy points, but the reason I'm voting for him is that he and I agree on _not turning the US into Gilead_!
If someone who championed worker rights, fought corporations (for real), would go to the mat for universal healthcare, or any of a number of things I don't think Biden's good on was running against him, I'd vote for them.
But Trump is.
Joe Biden is no Donald Trump!
0 rapes. 0 felonies.
@AskTheDevil @ApostatePerry A humane and compassionate human being.
@gemswinc @ApostatePerry I honestly cannot say I have seen enough evidence that he is any more human and compassionate than the average person, but that still puts him at the top of the mountain compared to Trump, or really any Republican.
@AskTheDevil @gemswinc @Alfred Different topic...is there a solution to faster than speed of light navigation in the solutions of the 3 body problem
@gemswinc pretty sure Biden strategy is a win/win for democracy...everything has a price
