Sometimes, though, a little tweaking is required. For example, this P2, K2 ribbed neckline obviously needs two more stitches than what was cast on, per the raw pattern. No problem! This will be an easy do-over.

So, it's been almost 2 years since my last go at a raglan sweater. Aside from correcting the neckband and adding an additional stitch to each sleeve cap, I've pretty much scrapped the algorithm generated pattern. Once one has an understanding of the garment's construction, and key points for desired fit, the process becomes fairly simple... Except correct stitch counts, for which I made a list.

Good grief. Had a reality check on my internal stress level a few minutes ago while updating the stitch count. It's weird for me how stress manifests, and often there's little awareness until I back-track on something seemingly inconsequential as row numbers. The stitch counts were correct, but the row numbers were all over the place! C'est la vie, right? 😅
