Pleasure to meet you and welcome home. Would love to know how you've been learning Gaeilge. I dropped the Duolingo course after one year in, when the company opted for AI over human instruction teams.
@fugitive247 the TYM ap is free and now (or I just found anyway) you can go to "translate" for each chapter to see and HEAR the Irish with english under each sentence PLUS a handy "syntax" which breaks each sentence down! You should give TYM a try !
Fantastic, thank you! 😊
@fugitive247 please feel free to chat w me in Gaeilge! I am at demented toddler stage but would live to exchange toots in Irish as we learn!!!
@fugitive247 love not live... must find caffeine...
That's a worthwhile goal, but it's going to take some time for me to reorient myself. I am willing to try, though. 😅
@fugitive247 I started with duolingo but sadly their AI pronunciation is utter garbage... I played with Rosetta Stone but didn't sign up til they gave me a lifetime Gaeilge course for $99. I'm also using TYM, ABAIR, and the book & youtube
