New Nauts, let me 'splain a little.
CoSo has folks of all stripes. We don't always agree.
We do have an occasionally spoken, but usually unspoken agreement that when we disagree with someone, we keep some things in mind.
My understanding and implementation of it is:
Be civil.
Be honest.
Be trustworthy.
Be empathetic.
Be true to yourself.
Pick your battles.
Remember others are watching and listening.
If someone specific gets your goat constantly, block/mute them, don't lash out.

The babies fledged last week. The doves are still coming to the feeder, and may be looking to nest again. I'm so glad the nest was used again. Unfortunately I don't have great pics of the babies. Here's the last few I got of the evening of fledging. I'll see if I can get Rei to post his shots to his never used account later. ๐

Just got off the phone with a guy I have known for about 15 years, never could get more than about 1 year sober. This time he had about 6 months, and started drinking again. It's complicated, as he also suffers from a bad case of PTSD. Anyway he got himself to the hospital and through a detox. He called because his so called sponsor asked him "Why did you drink", and this pissed my friend off.
There is no shame in relapse, And why is a nonsense question.
