I'm going to step back from #CounterSocial for awhile. It's been spiralling into propaganda more and more and that's not why I chose to come here.
I will come back, when I'm ready. This is not a reflection on @th3j35t3r or what he has so graciously and lovingly created here. I love this community but lately it has taken on a toxic theme and I am tired of it.
I wish you all the love and kindness. I hope that we eventually see this community get back to the foundations it was built on.
Hope you are back soon. I do a lot of curating and muting to make my experience better here. I love the news on CoSo, but I am tired of politics. I know who I am going to vote for and don’t need to get bludgeoned with political rhetoric. So, I use my hashtag blocks and do other things to slow the stream of politics. And you can un-follow certain folks and never look at the firehose. Hope to see you soon.

Perfect phrase…and really, what is the point of being bludgeoned with political rhetoric?
I do appreciate that folks feel passionately, but it’s a no thanks for me to shaming, angry blasting, fear mongering or basically being hateful.
It’s ok to make a decision about who you’ll vote for, be informed, and follow your convictions. And vote.
There’s a lot at stake, but what about sharing at least as much good vibe as downer? Better quality of life.
