lol I should have covered my (uninstalled) trim but I didnโ€™t.

So today Iโ€™ve been mopping baseboards ๐Ÿคช

@Beanc

Can you come over and mop my baseboards when youโ€™re done? Cause Iโ€™d rather clean toilets ๐Ÿ˜

@evamarie ah. Well theyโ€™re unattached so easy.

I *hate* cleaning attached baseboards.
De-test.

@evamarie still trying to figure out a way to Jerry rig my robovac so it does baseboards too

@Beanc @evamarie do the robovacs work well? on carpeting? i keep destroying our vacuums accidntally.

@Museek @evamarie hmmm. I suppose it depends on the vacuum, but I like mine, in general. Helps keep the fur manageable between deeper cleans.

A couple things to think of in advance: do you have furniture with small floor ledges (I have a c-table and a chair) or low clearances (e.g. a media center) it can get caught on? There are ways to resolve, but may determine what model/features you want.

My dad had a $$ Roomba and it was a tank. Lasted forever. I had a cheaper model, and it was just meh.

@b4cks4w @Museek @evamarie heh good point when trying to answer the robovac Que.

@b4cks4w @Beanc @evamarie that was a bit exaggerated lol. long hair tangled up in the bottom but this last week, the hose gave way. Sometimes the motors go out.

@Museek @b4cks4w @evamarie ah.
The hair will still be an issue. Lots of detangling.

My motors have been fine. No hoses.

@Museek @Beanc @evamarie so if it just won't turn on, might be a relatively easy fix. They get hot from full bags or whatever and and can melt the solder on the little control board. It's a quick job to re-do.
