watched this for the first time earlier this year...folks were right, it's quite good...
@evamarie I was talking to an HBO exec a few years back,there was meant to be a third season but at the time it was deemed as too expensive.
It was heartbreaking not to have a third season. I had also heard rumors of a movie which would act as a CODA, but by that time, all the actors had other projects.
@evamarie They were in pre-production for season 3 when they pulled the plug,I was gutted that it or the movie were never to happen.
I still have the DVDs of both seasons of Rome. Itโs absolutely my favorite TV series.
@evamarie I've got them in storage.It was an amazing series,watched it several times over the years,everything about it was perfect.
