@evamarie Yep, unlimited talent. My brother said he was great up at Alpine Valey near East Troy, WI. Same site where Stevie Ray Vaughn took off from in a helicopter in bad weather. After switching 'copters, they went down and died. Could have been back in Chicago in an hour and 15 minutes alive. *smh*
I never got to see Chris live, either with Soundgarden, Audioslave or solo, and it’s one of my musical regrets.
Stevie Ray Vaughan was another senseless death. It sounds like Alpine Valley is cursed.
@evamarie I think bad decisions were made with Stevie Ray and crew. They could have rented limousines out of Milwaukee to get them back to Chicago. With Chris, who can say? Apparently, he blew Alpine Valley apart with the strength of his shows. A good venue for him, I think. Still a huge loss.
